一 | BRUSSELS -- Mahsa Amini, the 22-year-old Kurdish-Iranian woman who died in police custody in Iran last year, sparking worldwide protests against the country’s conservative Islamic theocracy, has been named a finalist for the European Union’s top human rights prize.The European Parliament on Thursday announced the three finalists for this year’s Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, including Amini and “the Woman, Life, Freedom Movement in Iran.”The selection was “in recognition of their brave effort to stand up for women's rights," said David McAllister, the chair of the foreign affairs committee at the EU Parliament.Amini died on Sept. 16, 2022, after she was arrested for allegedly violating Iran’s mandatory headscarf law.The other nominees are Vilma Nunez de Escorcia and Roman Catholic Bishop Rolando Álvarez — two emblematic figures in the fight for the defense of human rights in Nicaragua — and a trio of women from Poland, El Salvador and the United States leading a fight for “free, safe and legal abortion.”Amini died three days after she was arrested by Iran's morality police, allegedly for violating laws that require women to cover their hair in public. While authorities said she suffered a heart attack, Amini’s supporters said she was beaten by police and died as a result of her injuries.Her death triggered protests that spread across the country and rapidly escalated into calls for the overthrow of Iran’s four-decade-old Islamic theocracy.Authorities responded with a violent crackdown in which more than 500 people were killed and over 22,000 others were detained, according to rights groups. The demonstrations largely died down early this year, but there are still widespread signs of discontent. For several months, women could be seen openly flaunting the headscarf rule in Tehran and other cities, prompting a renewed crackdown over the summer.The EU award, named for Soviet dissident Andrei Sakharov, was created in 1988 to honor individuals or groups who defend human rights and fundamental freedoms. Sakharov, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, died in 1989.The winner will be announced on Oct. 19.。 京津冀联合发布7项共建计量技术规范区域性计量技术规范累计达49项日报讯（记者马彦铭）8月5日，京津冀三地市场监管区域协作会议在张家口召开。会上，三地市场监管部门联合发布7项共建计量技术规范，覆盖生物医药、医疗卫生、产业协同、生态环保及民生保障等多个关键领域，其中2项规范填补国内相关领域空白。本次发布的7项规范，通过联合评估立项、季度协同推进、统一发布实施和集中效果评估的全流程管理体系，进一步统一区域内计量校准规范，推进技术协同，有效消除了跨区域检测差异，为产业升级、城市治理和民生保障提供了坚实技术支撑。这是自2017年启动计量技术规范共建机制以来，三地集中发布的第十批区域性技术文件。至此，三地累计发布的京津冀共建计量技术规范达49项，有效形成跨区域计量技术协同的“京津冀样本”，其工作模式已在华北、长三角等地区推广应用。本次发布的计量技术规范，在生物医药与医疗卫生领域，《胎心模拟仪校准规范》为全国首个胎心模拟仪器类校准规范，填补了母婴诊疗设备量值溯源空白。《医用温度报警器在线校准规范》与《澄清度测定仪校准规范》匹配药典要求，为保障药品存储安全与药品检测合规提供了重要技术依据。在产业协同与生态环保领域，《垂直轴偏差测量仪校准规范》统一包装容器测量标准，消除了跨区域检测误差，为食品、药品、化妆品等产业一体化发展赋能。《化学发光定氮仪校准规范》完善总氮检测量值溯源链条，支撑区域环境监测与科研单位生产和研究。
二 | 在民生保障与安全监管领域，《氧化性固体试验仪校准规范》创新质量变化速率测算方法，攻克燃烧速率校准难题，填补国内相关领域空白，为海关、化工、民航危险品安全监管提供技术支撑。
三 | 《电子温压转换膜式燃气表检定规程》强化计量数据精准与安全，保障居民燃气计量公平公正。另外，三地市场监管部门还将建设京津冀特种设备技术专家库，充分发挥专家在标准政策制定、科研课题攻关、突发事件处置、安全风险研判、检验检测支撑及疑难技术问题解决等方面的智力支撑作用，提升区域特种设备安全治理能力与水平。
